We
are a small family company located on the high plains of Texas. At this
location in the middle of the "largest cotton patch in the world", we
perform our research and development work with cotton fiber moisture
devices. Some of our people started here in the 1960's and remain with
us today. Several others have been here 10-20 years. Working with a good
team can be
habit-forming.
Much of the fabrication and forming, and all of the design, electrical wiring, control
code, electronics design, assembly, testing, and shipping are done "in
house". As you might imagine, with only
16 employees spread over a 60,000 square foot building complex, each of us wears many hats and the job is never boring.
We do a good bit of work around the world and we will
happily handle your inquiries in Spanish or French if English is a problem. |

A
company is only as good as the people guiding it. We have some good people
in that capacity.
Neil Turner serves us as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. He is
located in our Dallas/Fort Worth office. Neil is customer-oriented,
personable, has a strong technical background, and genuinely cares about the
products and customers applying and benefiting from them. Those elements
make for a great first contact at Samuel Jackson. Contact him at
neil@samjackson.com or call him at
972-475-6593.
Martin Mehner is Vice-President of Engineering. In our business, details
can make or break the success of a project. As those who have worked with
him will advise you, Martin is the right man to look after the technical
details and make sure all the parts are working as promised. Martin works at our Lubbock factory. Contact him at
martin@samjackson.com or call on
our toll-free line at 800-862-9966. |

Samuel Bartlett Jackson (S.B.) first experimented
with moistening cotton lint using water with surfactants in the 1920's.
These spray devices were manufactured and sold by Samuel Jackson until the
early 1990's. The surfactant used is still sold under the trade name "Moyst".
His son, Samuel George Jackson (Sam) invented the first moist air
generator (trade name "Humidaire Unit") for cotton gins in 1957. These were
intended for use on seed cotton just before the gin stands to preserve fiber
properties during the saw ginning process. Our company's founder may be
contacted at sam@samjackson.com. He
loves to hear from friends and industry associates.
Samuel Christopher Jackson (Chris) is the third generation involved
with cotton moisture in the family. He manages the day-to-day affairs of the
company today as its president. Chris loves to associate with good people.
Between the Samuel Jackson Team, its customers, and its suppliers, he is
working with the best! Chris spends the majority of his time with customers
in visits at the gin, on the phone, on-line, and by fax. It is best to
reach him via cell phone at 806-786-6355 or chris@samjackson.com.
