 Measurement of
cotton moisture content is critical to drying system control. When cotton
moisture is measured before drying, the temperature of the drying system can be
set by a Samuel Jackson Feedforward Moisture Controller to compensate for
changes in moisture level automatically.
A Feedforward Moisture Controller measures the moisture content of seed
cotton, provides a digital display of moisture content, and controls the
temperature setpoints of all Samuel Jackson heaters. An optional digital
display of after-drying moisture content is available. This mounts in the
same remote control chassis.
