Back Oil-Fired Drying Heaters
| |

Samuel Jackson
manufactures gas- fired heaters in three sizes. Heaters are easily mixed
and coordinated with Samuel Jackson controls to supply the right amount of heat
for any situation.
A Samuel Jackson 4-million Btu/hr heater is used to replace both first and
second stage heaters in very small gins. The same 4-million heater model is
used with 8-million heaters to supply 48-million Btu/hr in the largest cotton
gin in the world. This arrangement provides stable control and preserves
capital investment.
Gas-fired models burn propane or natural gas. These heaters are famous for excellent
"turndown", or the ability to operate at very low temperatures. This preserves
staple and saves fuel. The controls remember past operation problems, warnings,
and alarms. Use them to help train personnel and eliminate potential problems.
Low pressure drop permits maximum volumes of hot air to make the most of any
drying system.

Our latest
edition to our Heater line is the 1-million Btu/hr heater. Cold
weather and trashy cotton take a toll on the performance of lint moisture
restoration machinery. A ginner's best friend under these challenging
conditions is an independent source of hot air to keep condensation and
buildup at a minimum.The HG-1-1401 one-million Btu/hr gas-fired heater
was developed to meet this need. It comes complete with blower fan/motor
and starter to make installation fast and simple. The heater provides up to
3,000 CFM of closely regulated hot air. The heater has PLC combustion and
temperature controls with error/alarm logging to make troubleshooting easy.
Little external wiring is required for hookup.
It has been specially designed to support the Steamroller in its quest
for better lint quality. |
