The Mirror II has one mission to fulfill. That mission is making moisture control easy and intuitive for both the gin manager and gin operators. This versatile control is capable of accepting moisture information from most sensors on the market today. It is also capable of being connected to any moisture control machinery that has the capability of accepting electrical temperature setpoints from external sources. More than just a monitoring system, the Mirror II is all about control and coordination. A single Mirror II can simultaneously adjust burner temperatures based on the moisture of incoming cotton, adjust the temperature of a moist air generator based on final lint moisture, pause a module feeder when incoming cotton flow surges, and accept an adjustment signal from cotton classing instrumentation (supplied by others) so that a target cotton grade is achieved. The Mirror II has some special capabilities not available with the standard Mirror. Up to four Samuel Jackson 14-Series Humidaire Units and up to eight Samuel Jackson 14-Series Heaters may be connected by Ethernet network cable. This lets the Mirror II act as a remote control and diagnostic center for any of these connected products! But there is more. Multiple Mirror II screens can be connected within this network to put redundant stations at the console, the press area, the module feeder area, and the office, both wired and without wires. The Mirror II does more than coordinating your moisture control machinery. It coordinates your gin personnel in the common goal of achieving maximum returns through effective moisture control. There are two good options to learn about the Mirror II and how it can help the ginner. The first is by viewing the comprehensive, full color service manual. The second is by viewing the instructional videos available for this product. Although too large to be included here, they are available on CD/ROM disk for play on any Windows computer. A 60-second sample excerpt from one of them can help you determine if this type of instruction will benefit you in understanding this powerful new product.
